Introducing a novel service at Lakeside Cafe: personalized corporate event design. Our inaugural venture into catering commenced with a remarkable 3-day executive affair, an ode to excellence, for none other than the CEO of Wendy’s. Nestled in the embrace of our cafe, the event unfolded with a splendid breakfast spread that captured the essence of indulgence. From lattes that whispered promises of caffeine-infused vigor to the alluring bacon egg cheese croissants, sausage egg cheese croissants, quiche, cinnamon rolls, and a myriad of freshly baked delights, the morning greeted attendees with an array that tantalized the senses.

For the midday interlude, our culinary prowess was bestowed upon a wholesome luncheon. A medley of salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie trays graced the tables, meticulously curated to cater to the diverse palate of the attendees. These delectable offerings weren’t just sustenance; they were an ode to innovation, a testament to our commitment to delight.

But our collaboration with the event’s essence didn’t end there. We embarked on a creative journey with our French pastry chef, crafting a cake that encapsulated the very spirit of Wendy’s. This delectable masterpiece stood as both a culinary triumph and an emblem of our dedication to customization.

At Lakeside Cafe, our new service isn’t merely about catering. It’s about coalescing culinary artistry with thematic imagination, forging unforgettable experiences bite by bite. As we reflect on this remarkable inauguration, we look forward to curating more events that marry flavor with innovation, setting the stage for a new paradigm in corporate event design.

The amazing Wendy’s birthday cake came frm Courtney Clark, founder of Bliss Bake Shop in Brooklyn. She provides amazing baked goods to our cafe on a daily basis, and ready to help create beautiful cakes and treats.

“The lunches were outstanding. I appreciated their willingness to suggest options and then custom create what was requested by our team  —  even catching the fact that a sandwich order was missing for one of our executives and solving that problem for me before it became an issue. Their willingness to run a tab at the café made the “stop in and eat” or carryout experience seamless and easy for our executives – and certainly simplified expense reporting for me on the backend. Their suggestion for the custom cake to surprise Deepak and the entire Wendy’s team, made his “away from home” birthday really special for him and for us. We are still in awe of her creation. No one wanted to cut it at lunchtime, as originally planned – they just wanted to admire it.  They used it as a centerpiece, on their meeting table all afternoon, and then were willing to cut it and eat it last night, after dinner.  It was delicious (ice cream too).
